Adam Young

I am located in Holden, MA and frequently work across Worcester County.  I have been photographing for 15 years and working as a photographer for two years.  In 2009 I started Flash House Studios with Justin Mayotte.  In 2010 I’ve decided to venture off on my own to pursue my own photography.

I enjoy the hustle and bustle surrounding event and sports photography.  For me, variety is the key to keeping photography and life interesting.  I have photographed Proms, Girl’s Basketball, Women’s Rugby, Ice Cats Hockey (remember them), and the Austrian Alps from a Blackhawk Helicopter.

I am mostly self-taught in photography with a few mentors along the way. My wife and two children keep me grounded and give me focus in life.

Interesting facts:

• I am an FAA Certificated Senior Parachute Rigger, but I’ve only done 2 Tandem jumps.
• I’ve Bungy jumped in New Zealand.
• I seriously considered becoming a Theatrical/Movie Pyrotechnician while growing up…before the Fire Department had to visit the house.
